It is mainly used for weighing and proportioning multiple materials to meet the requirements of process formulas. As a container for weighing and storing materials, the weighing hopper (weighing silo) is applied in industries including chemical engineering, rubber, pesticides, dyes, pharmaceuticals, and food. It is often used in automatic powder production lines. A raw material storage bin (at least one storage bin for each type of raw material) needs to be configured at the front end of the weighing hopper. The equipment is equipped with a weighing module and is used with a dedicated batching instrument. It performs weighing and metering through the increment method to complete the batching process, and the rear end is connected to the mixing and packaging processes to finally realize assembly line operations.
The weighing hopper (weighing silo) is a weighing device that uses the reduction rate of materials in the hopper to measure flow rate and cumulative quantity, so as to realize metering and batching control. During a complete operation cycle, when the material in the weighing hopper reaches the lower weighing limit (or the hopper is empty), the discharge port is activated, and the materials in the silo quickly flow into the weighing hopper. When the material reaches the set upper limit, the discharge port is closed, and the feeding port is activated. Feeding stops when the material reaches the upper weighing limit, so as to achieve the purpose of quantitative feeding. The weighing accuracy and control precision are improved by adjusting the blanking time and making up for the difference based on the blanking rate.
